    Contenuti

    L’approccio culturale stimolerà approfondimenti specifici e letture trasversali relativamente agli aspetti legati a:
    ✓ Le soluzioni si generano dal luogo: l'eco-pensiero come fondamento
    ✓ Il bilancio ecologico informa il design: approccio «cradle to cradle»
    ✓ Design con la natura: l’ecoscenografia e il fashion
    ✓ Rendere visibile la natura: materiali 100% naturali

    I fondamenti metodologici sono:
    - Pensiero sistemico, per gestire la complessità e l’incertezza, il rapporto con il contesto ambientale, socio culturale e produttivo;
    - Approccio «Cradle to Cradle», per gestire il ciclo biologico e tecnologico di un prodotto del fashion;
    - Ecoscenografia come strategia di progettazione ecologica.

    Obiettivi formativi

    L'Insegnamento si propone di fornire agli studenti conoscenze tecniche e strumenti metodologici per la scelta e l’uso appropriato dei materiali di nuova generazione, secondo l’approccio dell’Ecodesign applicabile al settore Moda, incoraggiando il pensiero critico degli studenti sull'importanza di saper fare scelte tecnologiche appropriate ed eco-orientate. Si affronterà il tema delle strategie di "progetto del prodotto” che utilizzino materiali innovativi certificati “Cradle to Cradle”, che rispondano contemporaneamente a criteri di: salute, benessere, riciclabilità, risparmio energetico ed energie rinnovabili, decarbonizzazione ed equità sociale, che parallelamente incentivino il sistema dell'economia circolare.
    Lo studente, alla fine del percorso formativo, deve conoscere l'evoluzione dei materiali per la moda, dai materiali naturali fino ai materiali con prestazioni tecniche e agli smart materials, maturando al contempo la capacità di sperimentazione applicativa nel sistema dei prodotti della moda. Inoltre, deve conoscere le teorie, i metodi e gli strumenti per la progettazione di prodotti sostenibili, attraverso l'analisi del ciclo di vita del prodotto, per una progettazione ambientalmente consapevole.

    Contents

    The cultural approach will stimulate specific insights and transversal readings in relation to the aspects related to:
    ✓ Solutions grow from place: ecotinking as pillar
    ✓ The eco-balance sheet informs design: the "cradle to cradle" approach
    ✓ Design with nature: ecoscenography and fashion
    ✓ Making nature visible: 100% natural materials

    The methodological foundations are:
    - Systemic thinking, to manage complexity and uncertainty, the relationship with the environmental, socio-cultural and productive context;
    - Cradle to Cradle" Approach, to manage the biological and technological cycle of a fashion product;
    - Ecoscenography as an eco-design strategy.

    Course objectives

    The course aims to provide students with technical knowledge and methodological tools for the appropriate choice and use of new-generation materials, according to the Ecodesign approach applicable to the Fashion industry, encouraging the critical thinking of students on the importance of knowing how to make appropriate and eco-orientated technological choices. The theme of the "product design" strategies will be addressed in order to use innovative materials certified "Cradle to Cradle", which at the same time meet the criteria of: health, welfare, recyclability, energy saving and renewable energy, decarbonisation and social equity, which at the same time encourage the system of circular economy.
    At the end of the course, students must learn about the evolution of materials for fashion, from natural materials to materials with technical performance and smart materials, while at the same time developing the ability to apply experimentation in the system of fashion products. Moreover, they must know the theories, methods and tools for the design of sustainable products, through the analysis of the life cycle of the product, for an environmentally conscious design.
