Lingua di insegnamento | ITALIANO |
Contenuti | L'insegnamento sarà articolato in lezioni teoriche e attività laboratoriali. |

Contents | The teaching will be divided into theoretical lessons and laboratory activities. |
Textbook and course materials | Fuccella R.: Elementi di Urbanistica, Alinea Editrice, Firenze, 1998; |
Course objectives | The teaching, through lectures and thematic seminars, provides: basic knowledge in the field of urban planning and technology, specific knowledge on methods, techniques and tools for the governance of urban and territorial transformations, insights on emerging topics in the urban debate. The laboratory activities allow the student to apply the theoretical knowledge, stimulating the student's skills: 1) collect, process and interpret information and data for the knowledge of urban and territorial systems; 2) propose solutions to specific critical issues of the territory and verify their compatibility with the rules established by the urban planning tools in force. In addition, the laboratory activities promote the student's ability to work in groups and stimulate their communication skills, guiding them in the drafting of graphics and maps and in identifying effective ways of presenting and communicating their work. At the end of the training, the student must have at least the basic knowledge for the analysis of urban and territorial systems, in their socio-economic and environmental context and in the context of natural and anthropogenic risks to which they are subject, and must know the technical and regulatory aspects related to the processes of governance of the territory at different scales. |
Prerequisites | There is no provision for propaedeuticity. |
Teaching methods | The contents of this teaching will be provided through: lessons |
Evaluation methods | During the frontal lessons and during the classroom exercise, a dialogue will be held with the students in order to verify the progress of the learning process. The final check will be carried out by means of an individual oral interview. The interview will cover both the contents of the theoretical lessons and the work produced by the students during the course. The minimum requirements for passing the test concern: the possession of basic knowledge for the analysis of urban and territorial systems and knowledge of the technical and regulatory aspects related to the processes of government of the territory at different scales. The assessment will take into account the student's ability to: adequately use the technical language of the discipline, present effectively and with critical links the theoretical knowledge acquired during the training, apply this knowledge to specific case studies, present and communicate effectively the outcome of laboratory activities. |
Other information | The teacher will provide support materials to facilitate individual study. |
Course Syllabus | The theoretical lessons will address the topics detailed below. |
