Obiettivi formativi | Obiettivo del corso è quello di approfondire la conoscenza di fenomeni e protagonisti della moda internazionale dagli anni Sessanta del Novecento fino all’alba del nuovo millennio, cogliendone gli intrecci con lo scenario socio-economico, la cultura artistica e, principalmente, con l’innovazione tecnico scientifica. Risultato non secondario sarà, inoltre, quello di far acquisire padronanza con la terminologia di settore, gli strumenti bibliografici di riferimento e quelli critici adeguati a esaminare le tendenze della moda contemporanea. |
Prerequisiti | Lo studente, in ingresso, dovrà avere conoscenza della periodizzazione storica, come pure nozioni di storia del costume e della moda e di storia del design; dovrà dimostrare, inoltre, di avere dimestichezza con le tematiche affrontate nel tempo nel progetto dell’abito e nella interpretazione del sistema vestimentario. |
Metodologie didattiche | Lezioni frontali con proiezione di immagini che verranno esaminate criticamente anche con il diretto coinvolgimento degli studenti, utili ad arricchire le loro abilità nella contestualizzazione delle tematiche della moda contemporanea nell’ambito della storiografia di settore. |
Metodi di valutazione | Colloquio orale ed elaborazione di output visivi di sintesi delle esercitazioni svolte. |

Contents | The course is a critic way in the history of fashion, passing, through successive in-depth themes, from the Sixties to the present, licking, beyond the field of clothing also that of accessories and communication, graphic and photographic, to them connected. |

Course objectives | The aim of the course is to deepen the knowledge of phenomena and protagonists of international fashion from the sixties of the twentieth century until the dawn of the new millennium, grasping the intertwining with the socio-economic scenario, artistic culture and, mainly, with scientific innovation. The non-secondary result will also be that of mastering the sector's terminology, the reference bibliographic tools and the critical ones suitable for examining contemporary fashion trends. |
Prerequisites | The incoming student must have knowledge of the historical periodization, as well as notions of history of costume and fashion and of history of design; must also demonstrate to be familiar with the issues addressed over time in the design of the dress and in the interpretation of the clothing system. |
Teaching methods | Lectures with projection of slides that will be critically examined also with the direct involvement of the students of the course useful to enrich their skills in the contextualization of the themes of contemporary fashion in the field of sector historiography. |
Evaluation methods | exam tests and / or intermediate verification tests which will focus on the topics analyzed during the lectures and will refer to graphic and iconographic materials developed by the student. |

Course Syllabus | The course takes place as a dynamic path in the history of fashion, passing through subsequent in-depth themes, from the Sixties to current affairs, licking, beyond the clothing field also that of accessories and graphic and photographic communication connected to them. Through a constant comparison with social, technical and cultural issues, the evolution of the language of clothes and the production of the protagonists of international fashion are studied, moving from youth phenomena centered in the Anglo-Saxon and American area and investigating the successes of the “pret a porter" in the world, up to the concrete affirmation of the many current trends. |
