Obiettivi formativi | L’insegnamento mira a fornire i principi fondativi dell’Heritage Building Information Modelling (HBIM).

Contents | Through the analysis of an elementary survey experience, students will be introduced to information modelling. It will be illustrated how to adapt the BIM method - consolidated for new construction projects - to the digital re-construction of the pre-existing building examined (H-BIM). From the model it will be discussed how to draw canonical drawings (plans, sections, elevations...) and representations in consolidated methods. |
Textbook and course materials | Students will be provided with a guide during the course, made available on the teacher's personal website (at the link "teaching materials") and/or at the copy shop. In addition, the following consultations are recommended: |
Course objectives | The teaching aims to provide the founding principles of Heritage Building Information Modelling (HBIM). At its end, students should know: |
Prerequisites | Knowledge of the minimum content guaranteed by secondary school programmes. Basic concepts acquired in the previous year by attending the course: Modellazione Degli Elementi Costruttivi In Bim (9 CFU). |
Teaching methods | Students will be required, from the very first meetings, to work operatively in the classroom. In compliance with the academic calendar, the teaching activity will be divided into communications and guided exercises. The theme of the year presents itself as an opportunity to draw from the laboratory experience theories and practices. Knowledge and skills will have to be deepened with study and individual applications. Attendance is strongly recommended: the organization of the activities and the availability of the teacher will guarantee, during the duration of the course, the necessary support to the agreed applications. |
Evaluation methods | Three course tests and a final one will verify the achievement of the minimum objectives. Each test will focus on the exposure of the laboratory results diachronically divided into the following phases: |
Other information | Visiting professor and TS Erasmus Plus will participate in the workshops with theoretical and practical contributions. Information and other supporting audiovisual material will be provided in: |
