    Programma del corso

    Il corso intende rappresentare l’opportunità di sviluppo competitivo, produttivo e culturale delle industrie creative design oriented in tutta la sua dimensione strategica. I profondi mutamenti globali, la fluidità delle organizzazioni produttive contemporanee che generano valore, la dimensione della crisi e le sue caratteristiche strutturali indicano la necessità di costruire percorsi capaci di integrare cultura, geografie territoriali, cultura materiale, innovazione, persone ed istituzioni in un ecosistema creativo. La visione, generalmente accettata soprattutto negli ambienti scientifici americani, delle industrie creative basate sul concetto di “soft innovation”, ovvero sugli elementi non tecnologici dello sviluppo, ha fatto sì che queste non fossero a lungo considerate come elementi strategici dello sviluppo. In realtà gli ecosistemi produttivi design oriented dimostrano la necessità di una dimensione complessa dal punto di vista tecnologico, che integra strategie culturali, scientifiche e produttive all’innovazione, con un’ottica capovolta rispetto ai processi tradizionali d’innovazione industriale: la tecnologia diviene lo strumento di un continuo adeguamento alle necessità dell’evoluzione dell’ecosistema creativo, inteso come perfetto equilibrio di fattori sociali, culturali ed economico-produttivi. Con questa particolare ottica di revisione del concetto di economia creativa in rapporto al pensiero del design, il corso affronterà i seguenti temi:
    I Parte (15 h)
- il concetto di industria creativa in rapporto al pensiero ed alle strategie del design;
- l’evoluzione del concetto di industria creativa verso il concetto di ecosistema creativo;
- i valori tangibili ed intangibili degli ecosistemi creativi;
- la fabbrica fluttuante: nuove organizzazioni produttive design oriented.
    II Parte (15 h)
- evoluzione del concetto di innovazione, strategie e metodi per l’innovazione continua, le visioni del design thinking;
- metodologia e casi studio di design thinking;
    -elaborazione di uno scenario di progetto.
    III Parte (20 h)
    Workshop progettuale finale.

    Course Syllabus

    The course intends to represent the opportunity for the competitive, productive and cultural development of creative design oriented industries in all its strategic dimension. The profound global changes, the fluidity of contemporary productive organizations that generate value, the dimension of the crisis and its structural characteristics indicate the need to build paths capable of integrating culture, territorial geographies, material culture, innovation, people and institutions in a creative ecosystem . The vision, generally accepted especially in American scientific circles, of the creative industries based on the concept of "soft innovation", or rather on the non-technological elements of development, has meant that these were not long considered as strategic elements of development. In reality, design-oriented production ecosystems demonstrate the need for a complex dimension from a technological point of view, which integrates cultural, scientific and productive strategies with innovation, with an upside-down perspective compared to traditional industrial innovation processes: technology becomes the instrument of a continuous adaptation to the needs of the evolution of the creative ecosystem, understood as a perfect balance of social, cultural and economic-productive factors. With this particular perspective of revision of the concept of creative economy in relation to the thought of design, the course will address the following topics:
    Part I (15 h)
    - the concept of creative industry in relation to thought and design strategies; - the evolution of the concept of creative industry towards the concept of creative ecosystem; - the tangible and intangible values of creative ecosystems; - the floating factory: new design oriented production organizations.
    Part II (15 h) - evolution of the concept of innovation, strategies and methods for continuous innovation, the visions of design thinking; - design thinking methodology and case studies;
    - elaboration of a project scenario.
    Part III (20 h)
    Final design workshop.
