    Obiettivi formativi

    L'insegnamento intende fornire una conoscenza di base della storia del design e dell'architettura contemporanei in Italia e nel contesto internazionale e si prefigge di trasmettere la capacità di comprenderne le nozioni teoriche e storico-critiche a monte.

    Prerequisiti

    Agli studenti è richiesta una conoscenza di base della storia dell'architettura moderna.

    Metodologie didattiche

    I metodi di insegnamento che verranno utilizzati per il raggiungimento dei suddetti obiettivi formativi sono le lezioni frontali e due esercitazioni di gruppo. La presenza è obbligatoria per poter accedere all'esame di profitto.

    Metodi di valutazione

    Il metodo di verifica è orale e verterà sul programma affrontato, ma verranno presi in considerazione anche gli esiti delle esercitazioni inter-corso, di modo che il voto finale sarà una media matematica del voto ricevuto alla prova orale e di quelli ricevuti alle esercitazioni. Le esercitazioni saranno di gruppo e saranno in totale due. Complessivamente si accerterà la capacità dello studente di saper comprendere e descrivere un'opera di architettura contemporanea, collocandola nel contesto storico e nell'ambito del dibattito teorico-critico in cui è stata prodotta.

    Course objectives

    The course intends to provide a specialized knowledge of contemporary Italian and international design and architecture and aims to convey the ability to understand the theoretical and historical-critical notions upstream.

    Prerequisites

    Students are required to have a basic knowledge of modern and contemporary architectural history.

    Teaching methods

    The teaching methods that will be used to achieve the above training objectives are lectures and two group exercises. Attendance is mandatory in order to access the profit exam.

    Evaluation methods

    The method of verification is oral and will focus on the program addressed, but will also be taken into account the results of inter-course exercises, so that the final grade will be a mathematical average of the grade received in the oral test and those received in the exercises. The exercises will be group exercises and will be a total of two. Overall, the student's ability to understand and describe a work of contemporary architecture will be assessed, placing it in its historical context and within the theoretical-critical debate in which it was produced.
