    Obiettivi formativi

    Il corso ha come obiettivo quello di fornire agli studenti gli strumenti di base necessari per l’approccio alla progettazione multisensoriale, ovvero la possibilità di realizzare interiors, allestimenti temporanei e prodotti industriali, tenendo conto delle interazioni tra i sensi coinvolti nella percezione dello spazio e degli oggetti che ci circondano.

    Prerequisiti

    Conoscenze basilari della Fisica Tecnica. Attitudine all’utilizzo di software di modellazione grafica.

    Metodologie didattiche

    L’insegnamento è organizzato in tre diverse sezioni in cui vengono affrontati gli aspetti, teorici e pratici, della caratterizzazione, simulazione e riproduzione di ambienti multisensoriali, nonché lo sviluppo di progetti:
    Le sezioni riguardano:
    1) Approfondimenti teorici sulla percezione multisensoriale e sulle tecniche di riproduzione/simulazione e valutazione;
    2) Approfondimenti tecnici di laboratorio sugli strumenti (Hw/Sw) di misura per la caratterizzazione acustica, illuminotecnica, termoigrometrica, olfattiva, degli ambienti e sulle modalità di simulazione/riproduzione e calibrazione in ambienti VR/ibridi);
    3) Sviluppo assistito, in laboratorio, di progetti su temi d’anno.

    Metodi di valutazione

    La verifica dell’apprendimento, delle lezioni teoriche in aula e di quelle pratiche in laboratorio, viene effettuata durante tutte le fasi di sviluppo dei singoli progetti. In queste fasi viene valutata la capacità dello studente di realizzare un progetto multisensoriale e di svilupparlo in autonomia, integrando tra loro gli strumenti e le conoscenze apprese.

    Prerequisites

    Basic knowledge of the Technical Physics. Attitude to use graphical modelling software.

    Teaching methods

    The course is organized in three different sections which deal with the theoretical and practical aspects of the characterization, simulation and reproduction of multisensory environments, as well as the development of projects:
    The sections concern:
    1) In-depth theoretical studies on multisensory perception and on reproduction / simulation and evaluation techniques;
    2) Technical laboratory analysis on measuring instruments (Hw / Sw) for acoustic, lighting, thermo-hygrometric, olfactory and environmental characterization and on simulation / reproduction and calibration methods in VR / hybrid environments);
