    Contenuti

    Campioli A., Lavagna M., Tecniche e architettura, CittàStudi, 2013.

Nell’ambito dell’insegnamento saranno forniti materiali integrativi da:
Puglisi V., Cazzaniga M., Costruire un edificio, II edizione, Maggioli, 2022.

    Obiettivi formativi

    Prerequisiti

    Non sono richiesti.

    Metodi didattici

Le prove intercorso, saranno valutate in (trentesimi) e saranno organizzate prevalentemente in domande a risposta multipla e almeno tre a risposta aperta.

    Contents

Starting from the classification of the technological system proposed by the UNI 8290 standard, students will be guided to the identification of the various parts of the building organism and the relationships between them, focusing both on a systematic analysis of the users' needs requirements of the technological and environmental system, and to the understanding of traditional and innovative construction solutions.

    Textbook and course materials

    Campioli A., Lavagna M., Tecniche e architettura, CittàStudi, 2013.

As part of the teaching integrative contents will be provided from:
Puglisi V., Cazzaniga M., Costruire un edificio, II edizione, Maggioli, 2022.

    Course objectives

The teaching aims to provide the basic knowledge required for the technological management of the design process, with a constant focus on constructability, efficient management and environmental sustainability, in both the refurbishment of existing buildings and new construction.
Taking the entire life cycle of a building as its timeframe, the course is designed to provide a training programme at the end of which students, at least, should be able to:
    - understand the main materials and construction systems used in the construction sector in relation to the performance they deliver.
    - understand the criteria that guide the choice of specific design solutions, both in relation to the specific characteristics of the context in which one operates and to the environmental impacts produced.

    Prerequisites

    Not required.

    Teaching methods

    - Attendance at lectures.
    - Participation in scheduled inter-course tests.

Participation (including virtual participation) in specialist seminars.

Attendance is required for at least 70 per cent of classes. Attendance will be recorded in class by students signing a specific form provided by the lecturer.

    Assessment methods

The level of achievement of the didactic objectives for the module MATERIALS, SYSTEMS AND CONSTRUCTION TECHNIQUES is verified by the inter-course tests.
The mid-course assessments will be marked out of 30 and will consist mainly of multiple-choice questions, with at least three open-ended questions. The open-ended questions may also involve the conception of a simple graph.
The result of this (optional) assessment will provide the lecturer with a guide to the mark for the first module of the practical course but will not be included in the overall mark.

    Other information

Intercourse tests to verify learning are foreseen.
