| Lingua insegnamento | ITALIANO |
| Programma esteso | 1) I CONCETTI FONDAMENTALI DELLA TERMODINAMICA (8 ore di lezioni frontali): |
English
| Teaching language | Italian |
| Contents | Particular attention will be devoted to the application of thermodynamics and heat transfer principles to the energy performance of buildings, indoor thermal comfort and the thermal behaviour of building envelopes. |
| Textbook and course materials | The reference book is: |
| Course objectives | The course provides the fundamental principles of thermodynamics and heat transfer phenomena applied to the building-integrated systems and to the control of thermo-hygrometric comfort in indoor environments. |
| Prerequisites | Elements of Physics and Mathematics. |
| Teaching methods | Lectures will be complemented by numerical exercises aimed at solving applied problems related to thermodynamics and heat transfer in buildings. During these exercises, psychrometric charts, thermodynamic tables, and simple calculation tools will be used to analyze heat flows through the building envelope. |
| Assessment methods | During the course 3 classroom tests, with a duration depending on related topics, are scheduled. Each test will include numerical problems focusing on thermodynamics and heat transfer. |
| Other information | Slides focusing on the content of the lectures as well as tables/graphs for solving the exercises will be made available to students on the institutional course webpage. |
| Detailed syllabus | 1) Fundamentals of Thermodynamics (8 hours of frontal lessons): |
