Contenuti | Il programma del Corso parte dallo studio del distretto artigianale del gioiello presente in Italia attraverso la schedatura di Musei, luoghi di formazione, aziende e centri di vendita già effettuata, per giungere al design di un “GEOgioiello” partendo dall’accezione ampliata del termine gioiello [dal fr. ant. joel, lat. iocalis, agg. di iocus “scherzo, gioco”] ornamento in metallo prezioso lavorato, spesso adorno di gemme, o, oggetto rifinito con gran cura. Il processo di design del nuovo artefatto prezioso indaga le caratteristiche dell’oggetto sostitutore-gioiello (De Fusco, D’Auria, 1992) rispetto alla misura, al sistema e alla forma; i concetti di funzione, aspetto funzionale della forma, morfologia, tipo base e tipologia a base funzionale, sequenza tipologica per riconoscere la variabilità formale di composizione delle parti dell’artefatto da utilizzare anche con modalità differenti: accessorio-gioiello, o abito-gioiello. |

Obiettivi formativi | Il Corso persegue tali obiettivi: |
Prerequisiti | Buona conoscenza della lingua italiana e delle principali tecniche di rappresentazione grafica in pianta, prospetto e sezione di oggetti ,conoscenza e passione della geometria, della storia del design, dell’architettura e dell’arte. |
Metodologie didattiche | Il Corso verterà sullo studio e il design di gioielli realizzati con elementi naturali rispondenti ai requisiti dell’Ecodesign. |
Metodi di valutazione | La valutazione finale è data dalla sintesi dei risultati raggiunti nella esposizione orale dei testi in bibliografia e dei lavori finali prodotti, nella verifica dei risultati del workshop e nelle prove ex-tempore mensili. Notevole importanza è data dalla frequenza "produttiva" alle lezioni frontali, ai seminari, ai convegni, alle visite guidate. |
Altre informazioni | Il design di una micro collezione di gioielli verrà effettuato con il contributo di esperti, professionisti e docenti specializzati sul tema. Durante il Laboratorio si svolgeranno visite ai principali Musei e alle Aziende del settore. |

Contents | The Course starts from the study of the artisanal district of jewelry present in Italy through the filing of museums, training places, companies and sales centers already carried out, to arrive at the design of a "GEOjewel" starting from the expanded meaning of the term jewel [from fr. ant. joel, lat. iocalis, agg. of iocus "joke, game"] ornament in precious metal worked, often adorned with gems, or, carefully finished object. The design process of the new precious artifact investigates the characteristics of the substitute-jewel object (De Fusco, D'Auria, 1992) with respect to size, system and shape; the concepts of function, functional aspect of the form, morphology, basic type and type of functional basis, typological sequence to recognize the formal variability of composition of the parts of the artifact to be used even in different ways: accessory-jewelry, or dress-jewel. |

Course objectives | The Course pursues these objectives: |
Prerequisites | Good knowledge of the Italian language and the main techniques of graphic representation in plan, prospectus and section of objects, knowledge and passion of geometry, history of design,architecture and art. |
Teaching methods | The course will focus on the study and design of jewelry made with natural elements that meet the requirements of Ecodesign. |
Evaluation methods | The final assessment is given by the summary of the results achieved in the oral exposition of the texts in bibliography and the final works produced, in the verification of the results of the workshop and in the monthly ex-temporary tests. The "productive" frequency of frontal lectures, seminars, conferences and guided tours is of considerable importance |
Other information | The design of a micro jewelry collection will be carried out with the contribution of experts, professionals and specialized teachers on the subject. During the Workshop there will be visits to the main Museums and Companies in the sector. |
