Contents | The course is intended to introduce students to the complex panorama of specialized software for sustainable technological design. |
Textbook and course materials | User manuals of the software used |
Course objectives | The aim of the course is to provide the theoretical and methodological foundations for a correct and conscious use of the specialized software supporting the eco-orientated technological design. Since the level of definition of the different calculation tools is extremely variable, and the choice of software depends primarily on the purpose, the type of intervention, the design phase in which it is used, and the data available, the course aims to make the student able to identify and use the software from time to time more suited to specific needs. |
Prerequisites | Basic computer skills acquired during the Bachelor's degree course. |
Teaching methods | The course will be structured in two closely related parts: one theoretical and one applicative (as Workshop), aimed at producing a final paper. The proposed exercises will be carried out by students on their own laptops under the guidance of the teacher. |
Evaluation methods | On-going verification of the correct performance of the assigned exercises. Delivery of the elaborated work. |
Other information | The Course will take part in the International EELISA Project and to the definition of the Livin Lab of the MedEcoSuRe European Project. |
Course Syllabus | The course is intended to introduce students to the complex panorama of specialized software for sustainable technological design. The use of these software aims to verify, in an immediate way, the compliance of the project with the energy and environmental standards required by the current legislative framework, and is therefore essential to make the project environmentally and energetically sustainable. |
