Metodologie didattiche | Il corso prevede: |

Contents | The course intends to tie the concept and methods of design thinking and interaction design to the cultural and technological development of creative industries in its strategic dimension. The profound global changes, the fluidity of contemporary manufacturing organizations that create value, the size of the crisis and its structural features indicate the need to build pathways that integrate culture, local geography, material culture, innovation, people and institutions in a creative ecosystem. |
Textbook and course materials |
|
Course objectives | The students must acquire the concepts, terminology and the scientific literature concerning the notion of interaction design, of creative design based economy, creative ecosystem and of design-oriented innovation. Through case studies, reference study, seminars and conferences with designers, companies and design-oriented centers of innovation they must understand and master the dynamics of creative development and consolidation of factories, the creative geographies (both tangible and intangible) of reference. In relation to this scenario, the fundamental objectives of the course are: |
Prerequisites | The student must have notions of theories and methods of industrial design and of contemporary design scenery.. |
Teaching methods | The course includes: |
Evaluation methods | The course includes two learning checks; the first one related to the achievement of the educational objectives related to the basic contents of the course; the second concerning the acquisition of a repertoire of case studies on the themes of design thinking and the verification of the related design skills. For the first check (oral) the acquisition of the basic knowledge and the reference methodologies will be taken into consideration, for the second the ability to apply the acquired knowledge to the project and the critical and expository ability. The final passing of the exam will be obtained with a minimum grade of 18/30; the vote will come from the average of the obtained evaluations. |
Other information | The assessment methods will be related to the evaluation of the student's ability to apply innovative design methods to the design of a case study, with the collaboration of companies, institutions and external experts. |
Course Syllabus | The teaching module of Interaction Design, included in the Design Thinking Laboratory, refers to project experiences that go beyond the vision of human-machine interaction only, to extend it in general to the relationship with technology. |
