Contenuti | Il corso di “Architectural design” del primo anno della Laurea Specialistica in “Architettura – Rigenerazione dell’Ambiente Costruito (in lingua inglese)/ Architecture - Regeneration of Built Environment (ARBE-ENG)” si concentra sull'approfondimento dei principi fondamentali della progettazione architettonica in relazione al contesto territoriale e ai temi della rigenerazione urbana. |

Obiettivi formativi | 1. Comprendere i principi teorici e storici che guidano la progettazione architettonica. |
Prerequisiti | - Laurea triennale in Architettura o titolo equivalente. |
Metodologie didattiche | Il corso prevede un approccio integrato che combina lezioni teoriche, esercitazioni pratiche in aula, visite a edifici e siti architettonici di interesse, nonché la revisione e la critica collettiva dei progetti. Gli studenti saranno incoraggiati a lavorare in gruppi per stimolare la collaborazione e lo scambio di idee. |
Metodi di valutazione | La valutazione è calibrata sulla partecipazione in classe (Partecipazione in classe e coinvolgimento nelle discussioni: 20%), terrà conto degli stati di avanzamento del progetto attraverso consegne prestabilite (Progetti di progettazione individuale e di gruppo: 50%) e degli esiti della prova finale (Esame finale teorico: 30%) che consisterà in un colloquio orale sulle tematiche progettuali del tema assegnato. |

Contents | The "Architectural design" course of the first year of the Specialist Degree in "Architecture - Regeneration of the Built Environment (in English)/ Architecture - Regeneration of Built Environment (ARBE-ENG)" focuses on the in-depth study of the fundamental principles of design architectural in relation to the territorial context and the themes of urban regeneration. |

Course objectives | 1. Understand the theoretical and historical principles that guide architectural design. |
Prerequisites | - Three-year degree in Architecture or equivalent qualification. |
Teaching methods | The course involves an integrated approach that combines theoretical lessons, practical classroom exercises, visits to buildings and architectural sites of interest, as well as the review and collective criticism of the projects. Students will be encouraged to work in groups to stimulate collaboration and the exchange of ideas. |
Evaluation methods | The evaluation is calibrated on class participation (Class participation and involvement in discussions: 20%), will take into account the progress of the project through pre-established deliveries (Individual and group design projects: 50%) and the results of the final test (Theoretical final exam: 30%) which will consist of an oral interview on the design issues of the assigned theme. |
