Metodologie didattiche | l corso è inteso come laboratorio.

Contents | 3D modelling of a case study, with indepth analysis of the descriptive criteria of the project-oriented model. Immersive image-based techniques will orient the contextualization of the object within a defined space. The course will focus on the 3D acquisition through photogrammetric technique of an object chosen by the students and the subsequent post-processing with photogrammetric and retopology software. The finished 3D model will be used for redesign and virtual visualization. The finished realitybased model will be used in BIM software to create an information model that allows the digital redesign of the product (different variants can be made). The different textures can be applied to the different redesigns with rendering software. The idea is to start from the real product, digitize it using photogrammetric technique, use reverse engineering for post-processing and optimization with the retopology technique. The optimized model will be used in revit to create an information model that can be the basis for the redesign of the real object |
Textbook and course materials | Specific bibliographic references will be suggested for the chosen and agreed upon applications. |
Course objectives | The course aims at encouraging students to apply their critical thinking skills to the of use computer aided design software exploiting the possibilities offered by interoperability and flexibility. |
