Antonello Scopacasa, PhD in History and Theory of Architecture at University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli” for research on city space development in the central area of Berlin. His research topics are urban space in divided Berlin, Berlin’s city history, traditional woodenframed building in South Italy. In 2008 he founded his office based in Berlin and Potenza: Studio ideale. He edited the book “The Social City. Urban Development and Housing Projects in Berlin and Naples in the Post-War Era – A Comparison: Theoretical Models, Implemented Projects, Social and Political Impacts Today", Universitätsverlag der TU Berlin, 2022.
Alessandro Scarnato, PhD in History and Theory of Architecture at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (ETSAB), where he teaches History of the City and Architecture. His articles on heritage, tourism and gentrification have been published in scientific journals. He’s a founding member of the think-tank “Post-Car City” and a consultant in conservation and promotion of local heritage. His book "Barcelona supermodelo:
La complejidad de una transformación social y urbana” (Comanegra, Barcelona 2016) won the City of Barcelona Award in 2016.
